When a screen needs replacing
A small crack rarely stays small. Bring the phone in if you notice any of these:
- Shattered or chipped glass — sharp edges can cut fingers, and the cracks keep spreading.
- Touch problems — ghost taps, dead zones or a keyboard that types the wrong letters.
- Display faults — lines, flickering, bleeding colour, or a black screen on a phone that still rings.
- A screen lifting at the edge — this can be a swollen battery underneath, and the check will tell us.
The diagnostic is free and you get a clear quote before any work starts. If replacing the screen isn't possible or isn't worth it, there's no charge for the check.

- Usually 30 to 60 minutes — most screen replacements are done while you wait. If yours has to be ordered in, we tell you when it will be ready.
- 180-day warranty — covers faults in the new screen and our fitting. A fresh drop or crack isn't included.

Before you hand it over
Back up the phone before any repair, even one as routine as a screen. If the touch still works, run an iCloud or Google backup over Wi-Fi the night before. Any repair, by anyone, may reduce a phone's water resistance, so be a little more careful around water afterwards. And if something doesn't feel right once you've left, bring it back and we'll look at it under the warranty.
