Why Mr. Phone Riverlink
We've been fixing phones inside Riverlink Shopping Centre since 2014, for shoppers from right across Ipswich.
We look at your phone and tell you what's wrong and what it costs before any work starts. If it can't be fixed, you don't pay for the check.
Screens, batteries and charging ports are usually done while you wait. Parts we have to order take longer, and we tell you when.
Every repair is covered for 180 days on parts and labour, and batteries for 90 days. If something isn't right, bring it back.

FAQ
What people ask us most at the Riverlink kiosk.
Something else? Call or text 0420 896 369
No. Walk in to our kiosk at Riverlink Shopping Centre any day we're open. If you want to be sure we have the part for your model, call or text 0420 896 369 first and we'll check.
Most screen replacements, battery replacements and charging port repairs take 30 to 60 minutes while you wait. If a part has to be ordered in, we'll tell you how long it will take before you leave the phone with us.
It depends on the phone and the part, so we check it first, for free, and give you an exact price before any work starts. Nothing is done until you agree. Ask us about our price-match guarantee.
Repairs are covered for 180 days on parts and labour, and battery replacements for 90 days. The warranty covers faults in our parts and our work. It doesn't cover new damage after the repair, such as a drop, a crack or liquid.
It can. Manufacturers such as Apple and Samsung don't cover damage caused by repairs done outside their authorised service networks, and they may refuse warranty service on a phone that has been opened or repaired by a third party, including us. If your phone is still under the manufacturer's warranty and the fault is one they cover, we recommend taking it to them first. If it's out of warranty, or the damage isn't covered (accidental damage such as a cracked screen usually isn't), we can repair it while you wait. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected.
Premium aftermarket parts that meet or exceed the original specifications. Phone makers don't sell parts to independent repairers in Australia, so, like most independent shops, we buy high-grade equivalents from suppliers we trust, and test them before and after fitting.
Yes, please. Data loss during a repair is rare, but it can happen, especially with screen and board work. Back up to iCloud, Google, Samsung Cloud or a computer before you come in. We don't look at what's on your phone unless you've asked us to move your data.
Bring the phone and your receipt back to the kiosk and we'll take a look. Faulty accessories are replaced. A case that presses on the edges of the glass is a common cause, so bring the case too.
Battery replacements have a 90-day warranty. We check the battery's health before and after we fit it, so bring the phone back and we'll test it again. Heavy use, a weak signal or an app running in the background can also drain a good battery, and we'll tell you if that's what we find.
Any repair, by us, the manufacturer or anyone else, can reduce a phone's water resistance. After a repair, treat your phone as not water resistant and keep it away from pools and showers.
iPhone, Samsung Galaxy S and A series, Oppo, Google Pixel, iPad and Samsung tablets. For other brands and models, send us the model and we'll tell you if we can get the part.
If a repair isn't possible, or wouldn't be worth the money, we'll tell you straight away and you won't pay for the check. We'll also tell you what your options are.
Yes. We move contacts, photos, messages, apps and settings from phone to phone and tablet to tablet, including from iPhone to Android and from Android to iPhone, usually while you wait.
