iPad repair in Ipswich, plus Samsung tablets
Tablets spend their lives on couches, in school bags and in the hands of small children, so cracked glass comes as no surprise. Mr. Phone Riverlink handles iPad repair in Ipswich, and Samsung tablets too, at our kiosk inside Riverlink Shopping Centre, North Ipswich. Walk in with it and we'll check it over for free before giving you a price.
Tablet repairs we do
- Screen replacement — cracked glass, unresponsive patches and display faults on iPad and Samsung tablets.
- Battery replacement — for a tablet that won't hold its charge, plus a battery health reading taken before the swap and again after it.
- Charging port repair — whether your tablet uses Lightning, USB-C or Micro-USB, we clean or repair the port, with micro-soldering where it's needed.
- Camera repair — front or rear camera modules, for video calls and photos.
- Data transfer — moving contacts, photos, apps and settings from an old tablet to a new one.
Tablets come in many sizes and generations, so it helps to call or text 0420 896 369 with the model before you come. We'll check whether the part is in stock.
Signs your tablet needs a look
Cracks creeping in from a corner, a screen that ignores taps in one area, a battery that goes from full to flat during a single movie, or a charger that has to be wiggled to work: each of these is worth a free check before it gets worse, and when a repair turns out not to be possible or worthwhile, the check is free of charge.
Time, quote and warranty
Our everyday jobs, like screens, batteries and charging ports, generally take 30 to 60 minutes. Tablet parts that we need to order in add some time, and we'll give you an expected date. We have been fixing phones and tablets inside Riverlink since 2012.
- A clear price up front, before a screwdriver touches the tablet.
- Covered for 180 days on parts and labour, or 90 days for a new battery.
- Premium aftermarket parts, held to the original specifications or better, and tested before and after fitting.
A tip for family tablets
Back up first: on an iPad, an iCloud backup over Wi-Fi with the tablet plugged in is the simplest way. If the tablet mostly belongs to the kids, a sturdy case is worth having once the new screen is in; ask us what we have in store for your model.
